The Nuffield Family Justice Observatory has published a briefing outlining potential ways to measure success within the family justice system in England and Wales. Proposed indicators include a system that prioritises children’s outcomes, courts acting as an effective gateway to positive life changes, fair and equitable treatment of children and families, and meaningful participation of children in decision-making processes.
