REPORT- A youth-led online safety project delivered by Children in Northern Ireland (CiNI) in partnership with NSPCC

Children in Northern Ireland (CiNI) released a report on an online safety project designed to highlight young people’s voices and experiences. Working with the NSPCC, the project engaged 10 young people aged 14–17 through workshops, events, and creative activities like podcasts and social media content.

The project boosted participants’ confidence and communication skills, while their contributions helped inform policy discussions, safeguarding campaigns, and educational resources. They recommended introducing online safety education at an earlier stage and involving young people in creating solutions and resources aimed at them.
