PRACTITIONER OVERVIEW- Missing People, in partnership with NWG, has published a new resource to help professionals work better with parents and carers when a child goes missing repeatedly

Missing People, working alongside NWG, has released a new resource designed to support professionals in improving how they engage with parents and carers when a child goes missing repeatedly. This practitioner-focused overview emphasises self-reflection and promotes a culture where parents and carers are recognised as essential partners. It also encourages the development of compassionate, empathetic systems to strengthen safeguarding outcomes. The resource builds on Missing People’s existing guidance for professionals supporting parents and carers.
